I Lost my job

Yesterday, I become unemployeed. For the last month, There had been serveral people coming in the store saying that the owner had talked to them about working Ten hours a week. I ask both owner and they said they where not hiring (big lie). Yesterday, at the end of my shift, the owner came in and said they are going to have to let me go. Their first reason was because the slow enomony. I was the highest paid employee (I made less than minium wage). Then they claim my school was a problem cause I have classes Monday and Tuesday night. The owner CAN NOT work Tuesday nights. The last thing was that they said they where hoping I would quit for awhile now. They hired someone last year and they got to stay. She was a firend of the family. She would always ask off due to church functions and can not work every Wednesday night cause of church.

I am just upset due to the fact that how it was done to me.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Crying or Very sad

We are in a time were you can't "leave" a job. It's funny that they thought that you would've quit awhile ago. You know what.....maybe you would've but things have changed so much you can't leave.
I'm working a job that I would normally quit, but I can't. I need a paycheck....ANY paycheck right now. They obviously didn't understand that with you. Those bastards. Evil or Very Mad

Turns out I was "let go" on a Saturday and my replacement begin to work on Tuesday. They only last a day lol. I play it out so I can get unemployment. I did put an application at Walgreens and Harley Davidson. I know someone at Harley and she gave me the heads up.
